      Source

      • Karri Honey is from the giant Eucalyptus Diversicolor, which grows in a small area of the far southwest of Western Australia. The giant Karri tree has a life span of up to 350 years. The trees have a complex five to seven-year flowering cycle, but will only mass bloom under very specific climatic conditions and other unknown factors. Mass blooms are very rare, causing the paucity of Karri honey production.

      Best taste honey ever!

This is the best raw tasting honey I’ve ever had! It’s sweet but not too sweet, to a perfect balance. And the after taste also got flavorful layers. Definitely top notch!

      Jarrah and Marri honey

To begin with, I’m an absolute honey lover. However, in the last couple of years I started to seek out honey outside the mainstream supermarket purchases. After spending a significant time searching the internet, I found W.A’s Forest Fresh Honey with exotic Jarrah and Marri honey. Exotic because you either won’t find it in Eastern Australia or I didn’t look hard enough. When the parcel arrived (received it in less than a week from the date of purchase to Blue Mountains), I immediately ripped into it. The smell and taste is not of your typical honey: the taste of Jarrah is of slightly burned honey, sweet with undertones of caramel. While Marri is similar to Jarrah, it is not as thick but just as beautiful. For anyone who can make an Eastern European layered honey cake, this would be the honey to use. As I take a teaspoon of honey (make that 5) per day I will definitely be coming back for more. Australian made and produced, you can’t go wrong
