Blackbutt Honey, also known as Yarri Honey, is a dark amber honey with a full bodied, robust flavour best suited to consumers who like something different. It is incredibly high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. This is due to the dark colour of Yarri, meaning it is rich in phytochemicals, the nectar-sourced natural chemicals in raw honeys with beneficial antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. 

The newest member to the Forest Fresh Honey collection, Red Bell is a dark, active honey with a robust flavour. It has very strong prebiotic power plus is enriched with natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds, which helps support a healthy immune system. • Marri tree honey (also called red gum in WA) is sourced from the large Eucalypt Corymbia calophylla, which grows together with Jarrah in the large State Forest in the southwest of Western Australia. Marri honey is harvested annually, so is in good supply. *Studies by the Chemcentre in WA have shown the Jarrah and Marri honey are also anti-inflammatory and good for human gut health.

• Karri Honey is from the giant Eucalyptus Diversicolor, which grows in a small area of the far southwest of Western Australia. The giant Karri tree has a life span of up to 350 years. The trees have a complex five to seven-year flowering cycle, but will only mass bloom under very specific climatic conditions and other unknown factors. Mass blooms are very rare, causing the paucity of Karri honey production.

A refreshing soap with a natural yet smooth scent reminiscent of the Western Australian Forests. This soap has a mild deodorant effect. Ingredients include Forest Fresh Jarrah honey, Eucalyptus essential oil and Australian green clay. Eucalyptus oil has antibiotic and antifungal properties as well as having decongestant properties. It also has a mild deodorizing effect and is refreshing. Honey is a humectant which attracts and retains moisture. These soaps do not contain petrochemicals or harsh ingredients.

Jarrah Honey and Goat’s Milk Balm Bar

Tasting notes - Honeycomb is delicious on its own or when coupled with a selection of cheeses and other premium foods.
