Three honeys, one box
Jarrah, Marri and Blackbutt from Western Australia's native forests, 500g of each, every lot independently tested. If you have only ever bought one kind of honey, this is the box that shows you the difference.
Why three, not one
Honey is not one flavour. Different trees, different forests and different seasons give different honeys, and Western Australia has some of the most distinctive in the world. We put three of ours in one box so you can taste them side by side: a dark jarrah, a mild marri and a robust blackbutt. Each jar is 500g. Each lot is independently tested for Total Activity.
Jarrah TA35+: dark, malty, slow to crystallise
Jarrah is one of the rarest bioactive honeys in the world, found only in Western Australia. It is dark amber, malty and less sweet than most, with a long caramel finish. Jarrah honey's natural composition means it is slow to crystallise, which is why we guarantee our Jarrah TA30+ and above against bulk crystallisation until the best before date. Try it in warm water, on sourdough or over porridge. Organic TA35+ Jarrah on its own.
Marri TA30+: the everyday table honey
Marri Honey is a warm and robust flavoured high Activity honey that is also high in antioxidants. It is a great everyday table honey. Extra light amber colour, a mild flavoursome initial taste, which lingers to a tangy aftertaste. Marri TA30+ on its own.
Blackbutt TA30+: full-bodied, for people who like something different
Blackbutt Honey, also known as Yarri Honey, is a dark amber honey with a full bodied, robust flavour best suited to consumers who like something different. If jarrah is the malt, blackbutt is the treacle. Good with strong cheese and in baking. Blackbutt TA30+ on its own.
What Total Activity is, in one paragraph
Total Activity, or TA, is a laboratory measure of a honey's antibacterial activity, reported as a percentage phenol equivalent. The lab places a sample in an agar plate and measures the zone where bacteria do not grow, against a phenol standard. TA30+ means the lot tested at 30 or above; TA35+ at 35 or above. It is a measure of the honey, not a claim about your health. More on the TA scale and the results on record.

Fair questions
Which jar should I open first?
Marri, it is the mildest. Then jarrah. Then blackbutt.
What does TA30+ and TA35+ mean?
TA30+ means the lot tested at 30 or above on the Total Activity scale in an independent laboratory; TA35+ at 35 or above. It is a measure of the honey, not a claim about your health.
Will any of them crystallise?
Marri and blackbutt can over time, like most honeys; if a jar thickens, stand it in warm water for a few minutes. The jarrah is covered by our Crystallisation-Free Guarantee for TA30+ Jarrah, unopened, stored cool and dark, until the best before date.
Does the set ship free?
One set is $94.99, under the $120 threshold, so standard shipping applies. Two sets at $179.99 ship free, as do three and four sets.
Can I give these to children?
Not under 12 months. Over 12 months, honey is a sweet food like any other and the portion is your call.
