Black Friday / Cyber Monday FAQ – Forest Fresh

To ensure every customer is supported fairly during our once-off Black Friday and Cyber Monday event, all options, services, or arrangements previously offered by Forest Fresh are superseded by the BFCM FAQs below.

This allows our team to process the extremely high volume of discounted orders efficiently and ensures all customers receive the same level of care, clarity, and fairness throughout the sale period.

1. Why do Black Friday bundles change over time?

Our BFCM event is structured as a staged sale, where each bundle is released in limited quantities based on available stock.

Once a bundle sells out, the next allocation or offer becomes available.

This ensures fairness across all customers and allows us to manage stock responsibly during a high-demand period.

2. Can Forest Fresh backdate a discount or modify an existing order?

No.

Once a bundle or allocation is sold out, we are unable to extend, backdate, or modify any orders.

This maintains fairness for all customers purchasing at different times during the sale.

3. I saw a different bundle after I ordered. Can I switch my order?

We cannot change or swap an order once it has been placed.

However, you are welcome to purchase any new bundle released after your order while stock lasts.

4. Can I get a refund for my order?

Yes, if your order has not yet been dispatched, we can process a full refund.

Refund requests take up to 7 days during the Black Friday period due to high order volume, but we guarantee they will be completed if they are lodged prior to dispatch.

5. Can I return my order after it has been shipped?

Unfortunately, no.

Once orders are dispatched, we cannot accept returns on food items in accordance with:

  • FSANZ food safety requirements

  • Interstate biosecurity laws

  • Our internal handling and product-quality protocols

6. Why are Forest Fresh honeys not normally discounted?

Western Australian honeys, especially Jarrah are rare, seasonal, and naturally inconsistent due to variable native flowering.

Despite having one of the largest independent networks of commercial beekeepers and packers in WA, the cost of:

  • harvesting

  • screening

  • third-party testing

  • maintaining purity

  • and providing industry-first guarantees

…is significant.

This is why we generally do not discount our core honeys.

7. Why were Black Friday prices so low this year?

This year’s BFCM event was designed as a once-off gesture of appreciation for the customers who continue to support our family business.

We used products with more reliable supply to create high-value bundles without reducing the core Jarrah price.

The goal was to give customers an opportunity to experience a broader range of WA flavours at exceptional value.

8. Will Forest Fresh run Black Friday deals like this again?

It is unlikely we will offer discounts at this level again due to:

  • the rare and limited nature of WA honeys

  • the cost of testing, validating, and maintaining purity

  • the feedback received from a small number of customers during this year’s staged release

This year’s event was a once-only thank you to our community.

9. What are current response times?

Due to extremely high order and enquiry volume, our response time is 3–4 business days.

Our co-founder has temporarily allocated all staff to fulfilment to ensure orders are shipped as quickly as possible.

Every enquiry is received, logged, and flagged internally even when replies are delayed.

10. Why is the phone line unavailable?

Our phone line is currently offline as we do not have additional staff available to manage live calls during this peak period.

Email remains the fastest and most reliable way to reach us, and we will respond as soon as possible.
