Buddha Bowl Dressing Recipe

bowl recipe | karri honey

Buddha bowls are a wonderful balanced meal, and taste delicious. They are generally comprised of whole grains, veggies, protein, a dressing and some 'sprinkles.' We generally like to enjoy this as a vegetarian meal, but there are many options for different bowls on the internet so you can find what works best for you. This dressing, however, is perfect for all buddha bowls.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup tahini
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 2 medium sized lemons
3 cloves of garlic, crushed or cut finely
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 - 2 tsp Karri Honey
Water

Instructions:

Add tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and dijon mustard into a bowl. Add one teaspoon of Karri honey to begin with, and test sweetness. If you would like a sweeter dressing, add a second teaspoon of the honey. Mix well. Add water to the consistency you would like your dressing to be, we like ours thick but so it smoothly runs off a spoon. Serve with your favourite buddha bowl.

This recipe also works with Jarrah Honey or Marri Honey. Replace the Karri with your preferred type.
